Role overview and responsibilities:

Business Development Executives drive business results by producing a well-managed, profitable, and growing book of business. 

This person will serve Rockhop’s clients as a trusted partner, building and executing customized business plans and predictable sales engagement processes. Successful candidates must thrive in a people-based corporate culture and be passionate about identifying new client opportunities and growing the Rockhop brand.

What you'll do:

  • Drive development of account strategy and sales activity in partnership with the account and practice leaders
  • Work with new and existing clients to build a pipeline and secure new projects and managed services
  • Work with partners to deliver positive business outcomes to our mutual customers
  • Manage negotiations of the opportunities in the pipeline

What we're looking for:

  • Working experience with the Office 365 ecosystem, which include SharePoint Online and Teams 
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) application concepts 
  • Working experience with the Power Platform ecosystem – Power Platform Administration, Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps), Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Connectors, Security models, and Dataverse 
  • Working experience in Power Platform Administration, Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps), Power Automate, Connectors, Security models, and Dataverse 
  • DevOps and CI-CD Pipeline with Power Platform Build tools and Power Platform CLI 
  • Knowledge of full SDLC, Agile development methodologies, and application development life cycle 
  • Proficiencies in .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell 
  • Experience using Visual Studio and GitHub 
  • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills  
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills 
  • Able to work independently with the ability to be entrepreneurial in decision making 
  • Stakeholder level communication acumen

  • Strong sales background, with a passion for consultative, solution based selling
  • Ability to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business
  • Experience and ability to align teams to work toward a common goal; consistently demonstrate strong people leadership skills
  • Organization and methodology as well as strong prioritization and negotiation skills
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills
