Process Automation

Stop Managing Manual Work.

Start Automating It.

Most organizations know where time is being wasted. The harder part is building solutions that handle it reliably, at scale, without creating new problems. We identify opportunities for business process automation across your workflows. Then we build them, often with tools you already own like Microsoft Power Automate and Copilot Studio, so your people can focus on work that actually needs them.

Your Team Is Losing Valuable Time

Most wasted time in an organization isn't obvious until someone maps it out. It's often buried in approval chains that run through email, in data being re-entered between systems that don't talk to each other, and in reports that take hours to compile.

The tools to fix most of this are already part of your Microsoft environment. The tricky part is figuring out where to begin, how to prioritize, and how to create solutions that work well under real operational pressure - not just in a demo.

That's the work we do.

How We Approach Business Process Automation

We don’t come in with a pre-built solution and retrofit it to your business. We begin by looking at how your organization operates. We’ll identify where friction occurs, which processes take the most time, and where automation can provide the best return.

Everything we build runs on the Microsoft platform you already use. That means faster delivery, easier adoption, seamless integration, and solutions your team can own and extend without bringing us back for every change. When appropriate, we also enable your team to maintain and adapt these solutions themselves - because sustainable automation shouldn’t depend on a third party indefinitely.

Task and Workflow Automation

From simple approvals to multi-step workflows that span systems and teams. Power Automate handles the connective tissue between your applications, data sources, and people.

AI-Powered Automation

When the process includes unstructured data (like reading documents, processing invoices, or extracting info from images), we use AI Builder or Copilot Studio. They tackle what rules-based automation can't handle.

Legacy System Integration

Not everything has an API. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) allows us to automate tasks with older applications that weren’t designed for integration. This means older systems won’t limit our possibilities.

"Rockhop helped us get control of our data, automate tedious work, and build a platform for effective agents. The transformation was immediate - and lasting."

Dave Much, Director of Emerging Technology at The Boldt Company

What We Typically Automate

Every business is different, but the patterns tend to repeat. These are some of the most common automation opportunities we help organizations address:

Approval workflows - removing email chains from processes that need a clear audit trail

Data flows between systems - keeping platforms in sync without manual exports and re-entry

Reporting and dashboards - automating data pulls so reports generate themselves

Business event triggers - actions that fire automatically when something happens in your data, apps, or web services

How We Get You There

1. Discover

We map your workflows to find where time and money are actually being lost. This is a deep process review rather than a surface-level audit. It finds automation opportunities ranked by their impact and feasibility.

2. Assess

We create the solution with your Microsoft tools, like Power Automate, Copilot Studio, or Power Apps. We also provide clear documentation and handover, so your teams understand how it works.

3. Prepare

Whenever possible, we train your teams to own, maintain, and extend the solution themselves. The objective is to build your ability to automate as your business changes.

Where to Start

We help organizations go from spotting automation opportunities to putting them into action.

Well-Architected Agent Framework (WAF)

Designed for organizations that want a fast, focused result. Over a short engagement, we identify your best automation opportunities. We rank them based on impact and feasibility. Then, we provide a working prototype for you to deploy right away. You leave with something real, not just a slide deck.

Banking Process Automation

Banking processes like LOI, escheatment, or WSUD often create delays, inflate operational costs, and increase errors, leading to potential regulatory penalties. With today’s technologies, automating these common tasks is an easy way to ensure banks maintain a competitive advantage.

Construction Safety Agent Automation

Whether deployed as a mobile agent on-site or via a centralized safety dashboard, the Copilot interface guides users through reporting, documenting, and escalating incidents—automatically integrating with safety protocols and compliance workflows.

Process Automation FAQs

Where do you usually start with a new client?
With a process review. Before we build anything, we spend time understanding how your organization works and where automation would actually make a difference. The goal is to find the opportunities with the highest return.
Do we need to be on a specific Microsoft plan or license tier?
Most organizations already have access to Power Automate and related tools through their Microsoft 365 licensing. We’ll help you understand what you have and what, if anything, you’d need to add. We don’t push unnecessary upgrades or third-party tools.
What if we have legacy systems that don’t have APIs?
That’s common. We use Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to interact with legacy applications that weren’t built for modern integration, so older systems don’t have to be replaced before you can start automating around them.
Will our team be able to maintain the solutions after you’ve built them?
That’s the goal. We document everything clearly and, where it’s appropriate, we train your team to manage and extend the solutions themselves. The Power Platform tools are built for citizen development, so you don’t need a developer to make changes.
How long does a typical business process automation engagement take?
It depends on the scope. A focused, quick-win engagement can run two to four weeks. More complex, multi-process automation programs take longer. We’ll scope it properly before we start, so there are no surprises.
Do you work across all industries?
Yes. The processes we automate most often (e.g. approvals, data entry, onboarding, reporting, and invoice management) show up in most industries. We adapt to your context rather than bringing a one-size-fits-all solution. Of course, we apply our industry experiences to every solution.
