Hey everybody, this is Venice with Rockhop. These are the four questions I want my customers to be asking as they plan their Copilot adoption journey.
Number one: Is SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive governance clearly defined and enforced? Everything about Copilot is built on top of the SharePoint and Teams environment that you already have. So if things are leaking through that you’re not aware of, that’s going to pose a huge security risk for Copilot because Copilot will find and dig those up. So make sure your governance is in check.
Number two: Do I have a scalable training plan and knowledge-sharing culture established so that when I purchase and roll out Copilot, I can make sure adoption goes well?
We don’t want to make the investment before, culturally, the organization is ready to learn and adjust. So planning these things now, before Copilot is purchased for everyone in the organization, is super important.
Number three: Have I established Power Platform and Copilot Studio kit governance and guardrails to make sure that once we have moved into the deployment phase, I can monitor activity and understand how the adoption and builds are going?
And number four: Do I understand my business’s data well enough to plan Copilot’s data sources and value over time?
